United Cities Wing Chun Student Association focuses on learning and preserving Wing Chun Kung Fu and Cultural Arts. Students practice Martial Arts and explore different Martial Arts styles, techniques, and theories as part of the class activities.
• Price: Today enrollment and quarterly fees are required for the facility, but the goal remains the same, keeping the cost low and affordable for students. All quarterly fees go directly to Union City Leisure Services to operate its facilities.
The program describes itself as a class dedicated to learning and preserving Wing Chun Kung Fu and Cultural Arts, with a goal to remain open-minded for people who are genuinely interested in Wing Chun and Martial Arts. The class is held in a friendly environment with helpful members and encourages people to ask questions, discuss techniques, share experiences, and grow as Martial Artist in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. It also encourages members to explore different Martial Arts styles, techniques, and theories to gain greater insight into Wing Chun Kung Fu. The class has hosted like-minded guests who genuinely care about the preservation of the arts.
The original Union City class had no tuition and was based on a genuine interest in passing down Wing Chun Kung Fu. Today the goal remains keeping the cost low and affordable for students, and all quarterly fees go directly to Union City Leisure Services to operate its facilities.

Sifu Alson began teaching in Union City, CA in 1993, and in 2007 the United Cities Wing Chun Student Association moved to Union City Leisure Services. Sifu Stephen began his Wing Chun training in 1993 and formally retired from teaching in 2018.
The leadership team includes instructor Sifu Alson YueN, Dai Si Hing (Senior Student) Johnny Lo, and instructor Sifu Stephen Jeung, who formally retired from teaching in 2018 and remains an active member of class. Extended locations instructors are listed as Sifu Huy Ha in San Bruno, California; Sifu Rudy Malanum in Fremont, California; Sifu Danny Louie in Hayward, California; Sifu Aaron Yuen in Pleasanton, California; Sifu Way Huynh in Gainesville, Georgia; and Sifu Warren Low in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sifu Alson started his Wing Chun training at Pena Mohai, Palo Alto location in 1987 with Grand Master Kenneth Chung and was in the third batch of Grand Master Chung’s Bay Area students. In 1991, he won his division at the Tiger Balm International Kung Fu Tournament in San Francisco and earned the title “Chi Sau” Champion. Sifu Stephen began his Wing Chun training in 1993 and has studied Wing Chun under Sifu Patrick Au and Sifu Ben Der.
