Adventure Montessori Academy offers supervised indoor play as part of its daily routine. The program follows a Montessori style of early childhood education, with age-specific curriculums and a year-round curriculum that includes activities that foster critical thinking and fun. Adventure Montessori Academy is a Montessori preschool and kindergarten that has been providing quality early childhood education for over 40 years and has been serving the community’s preschool and kindergarten needs for over 30 years. The program currently has a maximum capacity of 60 children and is planning an Infant Center for children 6 weeks to 2 years old on the same premises by late 2026, with a target additional capacity of 36. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in early childhood education and act as catalysts to support students in learning and growth in a way that is positive, supportive, and oriented toward success. The curriculum is comprehensive and tailored to the developmental needs of each child, based on the latest research in early childhood education and aimed at promoting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through a variety of teaching strategies and materials that engage children in active learning and encourage a love of learning. The environment includes materials and support that allow students to express their thoughts, ideas, anxieties, and feelings, and offers experiences that foster the development of attitudes and feelings that encourage each child to become an individual member of the group. The program uses play-based learning, where play is the way children learn through curiosity, invention, and persistence, and offers a wide variety of activities so children can experience success and build skills at their own pace.
