Golden Oak Music Lessons offers music lessons and music classes in a multi-instrument studio setting. Students can take violin lessons, French horn lessons, trumpet lessons, piano lessons, voice lessons, guitar lessons, ukulele lessons, drums lessons, clarinet lessons, and flute lessons. The studio offers both studio lessons and in-home lessons, and also has rehearsal space available.

The program’s teaching philosophy states that whether music is a job, hobby, or educational elective, music should be enjoyed. The music studio family includes everyone from young children to professional actors and performers. The facility includes spacious sound-isolated lesson rooms, regular performance opportunities, and high-quality studio instruments, and uses a teacher-studio model that combines individual music teachers with a multi-instrument studio. Families are asked to schedule a time before visiting so someone can be available to give a tour of the facilities.
Mr. Dave is the violin instructor and is described as a phenomenal violinist who has played internationally with various symphony orchestras, recorded on hundreds of CDs and movie soundtracks such as Iron Man, Spiderman, and Avatar, and regularly plays at local events in Santa Clarita with SCMC and at Hart High School. Mrs. Christine is the French horn and trumpet instructor, has an M.M. in French Horn Performance from Yale University, has many years of teaching experience, and has played for the Syracuse and New Haven Symphonies, the NYC Ballet and NYC Opera, and on Broadway for shows such as Sweeney Todd, Evita, and Brigadoon.
