MLS GO Soccer League (The Coach Sarna League) offers soccer as part of The Coach Sarna League’s youth sports programs. The league also includes flag football in its overall offerings. Players participate on fields and in indoor training centers.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
Founded in 2021 in Vallejo, CA, The Coach Sarna League was named after longtime local coach, athletic director, Marine Corps Veteran, and Notre Dame alumni Ed “Coach” Sarna. The program uses licensed and experienced coaches dedicated to player development. Its mission is to unite families through high-quality, low-cost flag football and soccer so that every child can play regardless of financial circumstances.
The league is nationally recognized and award winning, with 5 national award nominations. As of 2026, it has over 4,000 players annually and has given over $400,000 in registration scholarships. All programs are open to the public and all age levels, and the MLS GO Soccer League offers all-boys and all-girls divisions from three years old to high schoolers. The organization states a pathway to college with a track record of placing athletes in collegiate programs and focuses on developing champions on and off the field while making youth sports affordable. It currently operates in four areas: Benicia/Vallejo, Fairfield, Napa, and Santa Rosa/Healdsburg, serving families in Solano, Napa, and Sonoma Counties, and emphasizes a supportive family environment with active community involvement.
