Las Posas Children’s Center

Las Posas Children’s Center offers after school care, summer day camp, and fall, winter, and spring break camps. The summer day camp includes weekly field trips to the swimming pool, beach, and a special event, along with arts and crafts, sports and games, and other camp favorites. After school care is available until 6:00 pm.

Programs

• After School Care — TK-5th grade · After school until 6:00 pm · Available at six campuses in the Ventura Unified School District. Includes care during Fall, Christmas and Spring breaks, In-Service days, and most school holidays.
• Summer Day Camp — K-8th grade · During the summer months. Activities include weekly field trips to the swimming pool, beach, and a special event. Arts and crafts, sports and games, and other camp favorites are mentioned.
• Fall Break Camp — Camp registration form is requested for Fall Break.
• Winter Break Camp — Camp registration form is requested for Winter Break.
• Spring Break Camp — Camp registration form is requested for Spring Break.

About the provider

Las Posas Children’s Center opened in June 1985. It operates school aged childcare centers on six campuses in the Ventura Unified School District and was voted “Best Childcare” in Ventura County for the past twelve years in the VC Reporter. The Summer Day Camp became accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) in 2003.

Additional Child Discount: $5.00 per week, minimum 3 days per week. After School TK must be 5 yrs old by Feb 2, 2026. Two-day minimum for Wednesdays. Annual Registration Fee: $85 (June-June).
