Ventura Packers Youth Football & Cheer offers football and cheer. The program includes both tackle football activities and cheer activities under the same organization.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
2026 will be the Ventura Packers' 60th season serving the Ventura community. The program states that its number one concern is making this sport safe. Coaches receive USA Heads Up Football training, and the program participates in the USA Heads Up Football program, which is used to advance player safety through education and nationally endorsed standards. The organization is part of more than 7,000 youth football leagues enrolled in Heads Up Football. A brain scientist has provided a testimonial on tackle football being safe.
