Ventura Surf School Surf Camp

Ventura Surf School Surf Camp offers surf camp sessions that include surf instruction, hands-on surfing practice, and a warm-up and stretching session. Each session includes the use of a surfboard and wetsuit, and students are asked to bring their own lunch and personal items such as a towel, sunscreen, hat, and drinks.

Ventura Surf School Surf Camp has been operating for over 20 years under the direction of Evan Caples. The program’s mission states that being a surfer is more than just standing up on a surfboard, and it focuses on teaching wave knowledge, surf etiquette, ocean safety, proper technique, and respect for others. The camp uses small class sizes with a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio, and all necessary surfing equipment, including soft-top surfboards and wetsuits, is provided. The team of experienced surf instructors is described as passionate about sharing their love for the ocean and helping students develop their surfing skills in a supportive and fun environment.
