Ventura Surf School Surf Camp

Ventura Surf School Surf Camp offers a surf camp that includes surf instruction, a warm-up and stretching session, and hands-on surfing practice. Each camp day includes time in the water using surfboards and wetsuits provided by the program.

Ventura Surf School Surf Camp has been operating for over 20 years. The program states that being a surfer is more than just standing up on a surfboard and that it teaches kids to become surfers. The camp is led by Director Evan Caples. Surfboard and wetsuit are provided, and students are required to bring their own lunch, sunscreen, towel, and hat, with a water bottle also recommended. Class sizes are small with a 4:1 student to instructor ratio, and the camp is specifically designed for beginners. All lessons and camp sessions are held at the same beach unless otherwise specified. The program notes that there are no refunds on purchases, that rescheduling is allowed up to one week prior to the original scheduled dates if space permits, and that there are no make-up days for missed days.
