About
Kids in the Garden Classes is a program for kids and their families. The classes meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to 12 noon unless otherwise noted, and the class fee is $5 per child and $5 per adult for those who are not covered by a Family Membership. The November 14 class is listed as "Kids in the Garden: Scavenger Hunt for Natures Treasures."

- Summer Camps — grades 1-5 · July 21-25, 2025; Monday-Friday; full day 9:00 am to 3:30 pm; half day 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm; extended day 8:30 to 5:00 · $262–$467 per week · Activities include art, nature walks, music, theater, and garden science.

About the provider
Classes are included with Family Memberships, and the class is free if the family has a family membership. Adults stay with their kids, and families are asked to bring cash for the class fee and provide the child’s name and age for the check-in roster. Pre-registration with Farmer Jones by noon on November 13 is listed for the November 14 class. 100% of fees go to Alta Vista Botanical Gardens’ Children’s Garden.
