Science Beginnings offers after school science classes and summer camps that include Food Chemistry, Chemistry Fizz, Physics Fun, Budding Biologist, Explorations in STEM, Careers for Kids, and Introduction to Robotics. The program also runs Extraordinary Summer Camps and GATE Classes as part of its science enrichment for adventurous kids.

Classes are taught by the Director/Lead Teachers and assisted by trained, energetic, and enthusiastic TAs, and the Director has more than 14 years of experience. The curriculum is divided into six courses: Food Chemistry, Physics Fun, Chemistry Fizz, Budding Biologist, Careers for Kids, Awesome Explorations in STEM, and Introduction to Robotics. The program states a mission to make science part of a child’s life and lists goals that include making science fun, making kids curious about their world, increasing scientific knowledge and awareness, making kids question day-to-day phenomena, and making kids team builders and problem solvers. Unique features include scholarships, GATE Classes, personalized attention by the lead teacher/director, teachers and TAs handpicked and trained by the director, access to teachers by email, fun, innovative experiments in a casual camp environment, and daily parent updates with science worksheets.

Science Beginnings offers classes and camps in the cities of San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Danville, and Livermore in the East Bay, California.
