Discovery Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten

Discovery Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten offers a Toddler Program for ages 2-3 years. It also offers Pre-& Transitional Kindergarten for ages 3-5 years with reading, writing, mathematics, language skills, science, social studies, music and movement, and art activities, as well as Kindergarten for ages 5-6 years with language and literacy, math, social studies, history, geography, and hands on science experiments.

About the provider

The school was established in 2004 and has served surrounding areas for over 17 years. The Director & Owner has over 30 years of experience as a Montessori and Early Childhood Educator, holds a degree in English, has a post-graduate in Early Childhood Development, has continued California Teaching Credentials, and has earned the title of Site Supervisor in Child Development through certification. All staff members are Montessori trained, First Aid and CPR certified, fully background checked, and regularly subject to performance evaluations. The facility is licensed. The school follows the Montessori method and aims to help children work independently, experience self-discovery, maximize curiosity and desire to learn, and love school and the process of learning.

Admission process requires completing and returning listed enrollment documents in person. To enter kindergarten school year, a child must be five years old on or before August 31. Birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport is required for students entering transitional kindergarten or kindergarten.
