Abbey Road Summer Study Abroad Programs offers summer study abroad experiences that include authentic cultural and language immersion abroad, as well as pre-college preparation in the U.S. The programs are structured with a staff to student ratio of 1:6 and include an airfare assistance plan with designated flights, along with a global WiFi and phone service plan. The programs are described as an authentic, savvy way to travel and use a fun, interactive way of learning while balancing safety, flexibility, and freedom, with programs designed to foster independence, critical thinking, and global awareness.

Founded by Stanford alumni in 2000, Abbey Road Summer Study Abroad Programs has a mission to deliver high-quality academic programs that foster cross-cultural understanding, experiential learning, personal development, and academic enrichment. Faculty and curriculum developers hail from organizations and universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, Cambridge, La Sorbonne, the United Nations, the World Bank, the European Parliament, and the U.S. State Department. The Director of Abbey Road, Dr. Arthur Kian, earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from Stanford University, where he served as an instructor for the Stanford Program for Gifted Youth and the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education, and he developed and taught courses in International Politics and Foreign Languages for both college and high school students at Stanford and UCLA. The organization has strong connections with host communities. One parent described Abbey Road as “simply a cut above the rest.”
