Midtown Stomp Swing Dance Classes offers beginning swing dance lessons in Beginning 6-Count Swing, Lindy Hop 1, Teacher’s Choice, Collegiate Shag for Everyone, and a Thriller routine. The Friday beginner lesson is included with dance admission, and no experience or partner is needed for that lesson.

- Lindy Hop 1 — Fridays, 7:00-8:00 pm · $60 per month · Four-week series. Know basic 6-count swing, or take the 8 pm beginning drop-in lesson first. Friday dancing is included in registration.
- Teacher’s Choice — Fridays, 7:00-8:00 pm · $60 per month · Four-week series. Published monthly registration: $60.
- Collegiate Shag for Everyone — Fridays, 8:00-9:00 pm · $60 per month · Four-week series. Separate from the 8 pm beginning swing lesson.
- Thriller routine — Friday, 7:00 pm · October bonus class. Ask the studio about registration.

About the provider
The program says it has been bringing Sacramento together for swing dancing since 2005. Its mission statement is: “Come for the lesson, stay for the dancing and the community.”
The Friday beginner lesson is included with dance admission. Social dancing begins at 9:00 pm. Lindy Hop 1 is for dancers who know basic 6-count swing or have taken the beginning drop-in class. Series classes can be joined in the first two weeks. Registration for some planned future series is not open.
