Dream Community Center Camps

Dream Community Center Camps offer social recreation classes that include art, brain games, fitness and motor planning activities, music, yoga, brain and motor games, and joyful movement. The program takes place at the DREAM Community Center, which is an inclusive recreation center that provides enrichment activities and classes focused on social recreation, skill development, and personal growth. Camps include fun social recreation activities like art and brain games, along with meaningful and engaging learning opportunities.

The DREAM Community Center is described as an inclusive recreation center that provides enrichment activities and classes focused on social recreation, skill development, and personal growth. Staff are highly trained in positive behavioral supports, social emotional learning, and augmentative and alternative communication. The leadership team includes Edlyn Peña, Ph.D. as Chief Executive Officer and Henry Panah as Chief Operating Officer. For nearly 15 years, Dr. Peña has been highly involved in advocacy, research, and program coordination for the autism community, and she has sat on government and non-profit advisory boards that support disabled communities across the U.S. The center also includes a boutique day program for neurodiverse adults and is led by a Ph.D.-level CEO with a history in disability advocacy and scholarship.
