• Ages: 1–18 years old

Progression Gymnastics offers fun and engaging gymnastics classes for students 18 months–6 years old, with classes divided into age-appropriate groups and by age and skill level. The program uses state of the art curriculums, small instructor-to-student ratios, and small class sizes to provide instruction for individual needs, with skills taught in a progressive manner so students are always learning and growing. The Xcel Competitive Program teams are invitation-based, and students in this program master skills set by USAG, practice routines, and perform or compete in competitions throughout the Spring Season. The program also offers private lessons for additional individualized support, Summer, Winter, Spring Break, and Thanksgiving break camps, as well as skill-building clinics and Friday Fun Nights once or twice a month. Most classes have a waitlist, and spots are offered in age-appropriate classes in order of inquiry date, and students ages 6 and older may register for Friday Fun Nights and camps even if not enrolled in classes, as long as they pay the annual membership fee.

Progression Gymnastics was founded in 2016 as a mobile program in Tulare County, was relaunched on the Town Green in 2022, and moved into its current home in January 2024. The leadership team includes Coach Elise as Owner and Coach, and Coach Anastasiia as Manager, Coach, and Team Director. The program’s mission is to help every child it works with gain self-esteem and confidence, while learning the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun and progressive manner. Coaches are trained in both gymnastics and child development. Coach Elise earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University, completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Yatra Yoga, and has attended Regional Gymnastics Congresses, clinics, and ongoing education in fitness, child development, and movement. Coach Anastasiia earned the title of Master of Sports in Ukraine (equivalent of Level 8–9 in the US), holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education, has attended the Region 1 Gymnastics Congress, is a certified USAG Team Coach, and has completed the judging course for Xcel Bronze and Silver.
