Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County Summer Programs offers summer day camp and Teen Club Summer with daily activities that include sports, art, STEM projects, learning, field trips, and pool days. Each day of the summer day camp includes a snack breakfast, lunch, and a regular snack, and Teen Club Summer includes two snacks per day. Youth at Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County participate in evidence-based programs in academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character, and citizenship.

Summer Day Camp is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and runs in 2-week sessions: Session 1 from June 2–13 ($250), Session 2 from June 16–27 ($225), Session 3 from June 30–July 11 ($225), Session 4 from July 14–25 ($250), and Session 5 from July 28–August 8 ($250). Full-day drop-in care is available at $25 per child and half-day drop-in care at $12.50 per child, and drop-in days must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. The program operates at a ratio of 15 youth per 1 staff member, members are assigned to groups by age, and a wait list is used if capacity is reached. Field trips are scheduled as it is safe to do so and may have additional fees, and the program will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. A snack is provided each day at each Club, and two meals are provided at the Cañon K–7th Club on no-school Fridays.
Teen Club Summer in 2025 operates from June 5 to August 8 and is open Thursday and Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Teen Night runs Friday and Saturday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for ages 12–18. Teen Club Summer includes engaging programs, field trips, pool days, and two snacks per day, and there is a Summer Membership Fee of $25 per youth for Teen Club Summer, which is the only fee for summer care at this Club. Club members with an active 2024–25 membership do not pay the Summer Membership Fee.
The Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County is a licensed childcare facility and operates as a non-profit organization, and all monies go to benefit the Club and its members. All monies paid to the Boys & Girls Club are non-refundable, including summer fees, field trip fees, and membership fees. CCCAP is accepted, and all families are encouraged to apply for financial assistance through DHS. After-school transportation is available from some RE-1 schools, and the program has continued through summers as a day camp open to all Fremont County kids going into 1st–6th grade. The organization was one of four Clubs in Colorado to remain open during the pandemic.
The Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County opened its doors in June 2011 with 8 middle school students and expanded to high school students by the end of that year, reaching 113 members. The Florence Club opened in fall 2015, and the first K–5 Club opened on September 25, 2017, at Mountain View Core Knowledge Charter School. In September 2018, the Cañon Club was adapted to serve K–12th graders, and a new Club at Fremont Elementary School in Florence opened in January 2020 but closed in March 2020 due to COVID-19. A temporary site at Canon Exploratory opened in March 2020, and the 4th Street Teen Club was rebranded and opened in August 2020, with ownership of the 4th Street Teen Club/Office location obtained in 2023.
The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need the Club most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
