Canon City Area Recreation & Park District Camps & Lessons offers Challenger International Soccer Camp, Tiny Tykes Summer Camps, a Half Day Program, Overtime, Youth Tennis Lessons, and Youth Rafting. The offerings include Monday-to-Friday camp schedules, tennis lessons on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 2026-06-08 to 2026-07-16, and rafting on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm from May 26 through July 30.

- Challenger International Soccer Camp — 3-14 years old · Monday to Friday, 2026-06-15 to 2026-06-19
- Tiny Tykes Summer Camps — 3-5 year-olds · Monday to Friday, 45 minutes
- Half Day Program — 5-14 year-olds · Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day
- Overtime — 5-14 year-olds · Monday to Thursday, 2 hours per day · Special bonus camp for half day AM campers only.
- Youth Tennis Lessons — 4-18 years old · Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday; 2026-06-08 to 2026-07-16 · $55–$70
- Youth Rafting — 13-19 years old · Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm; May 26th through July 30th · $60–$75 · No experience is required to participate. An additional $40 ACA registration fee is required. Individual membership is required.

About the provider
The District was established in 1965. Its mission is to provide a full range of easily accessible recreation and park programs, services and facilities for participants of every age, ability level, cultural background and financial status. The District works with the City of Cañon City, Fremont County, Cañon City RE-1 School District, Fremont Sanitation District, and many local businesses and non-profits to provide recreational services to the citizens of the community.
Youth Tennis Lessons: classes missed may be made up with prior arrangements; lessons during week of July 4th may change. Youth Rafting: no experience is required to participate; you must sign up for an individual membership; you will not be allowed to participate in any activities until this is done.
