The program’s stated purpose is “to inspire Christ-centered love and commitment through counselor relationships in the midst of exciting outdoor experiences.” Eagle Lake Camps is a ministry of The Navigators. Eagle Lake is ACA accredited, is a member of CCCA, and is licensed by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood.

Crew for ages 13–17 focuses on building up young leaders with chances to grow in their own faith, learn how to disciple others, lead younger campers, and serve the church. Counselors in Training for ages 16–17 work alongside Eagle Lake counselors, engaging younger campers in games and activities and leading daily Bible studies. Financial Aid (Campership) is available, and a Referral Program offers $20 off 2026 registration for both the referring family and their friend.

Volunteer roles include Check-In and Check-Out, Medical Volunteer, and Host Home. The Medical Volunteer role is preferably filled by someone with medical training such as a CNA, RN, or EMT. Host Homes provide lodging for two or more Eagle Lake staff members, with breakfast each morning and dinner four nights during the week.

One parent testimonial states, “My children rated it a 5 out of 5 for fun! They especially loved the dancing, the activities, and the bungee jumping.” Another camper testimonial describes that “Eagle Lake is bringing the camp experience right to your neighborhood for campers aged 6-12” and mentions themes, team games, worship, skits, and small group Bible studies.
