Eagle Lake Day Camp at Canyons Community Church includes activities such as rock climbing, range sports, 9-square, team games, Capture the Flag, Creation Station, Eurobungy, Gaga Ball, Tie Dye, and a waterslide. Campers also take part in worship, skits, small group Bible studies, and camper rallies with teachings and worship.

• Schedule: 5-day session, June 8–12, with daily check-in from 9:00–9:30am and check-out from 4:00–4:30pm

A typical day at Eagle Lake Day Camp at Canyons Community Church includes 9:00 am check-in, a 9:45 am camper rally, and two morning activity blocks starting at 10:00 am and 11:00 am, such as the rock wall, range sports, waterslide, or Tie Dye. Lunch is at 12:00 pm, followed by a 12:30 pm camper rally, 1:15 pm Bible study prep, 1:45 pm camper’s choice free time, 3:20 pm Bible study, and 4:00 pm check-out. Campers are asked to bring a packed lunch, and snacks are encouraged.
The program’s stated purpose is “to inspire Christ-centered love and commitment through counselor relationships in the midst of exciting outdoor experiences.” Eagle Lake is a ministry of The Navigators, whose calling is “to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.” Eagle Lake emphasizes Safety, Fun, and Growth as core to the camper experience and offers counselor-led discipleship, Bible study, and camper rallies with teachings and worship in small groups of 8–16 campers close in age.
Eagle Lake is ACA accredited, is a member of CCCA, and is licensed by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. Eagle Lake offers overnight and day camps in Colorado and beyond and brings the camp experience to partner church locations. Eagle Lake offers a Crew program for ages 13–17 to build young leaders and a Counselors in Training program for ages 16–17 who work alongside Eagle Lake counselors.
Before and After Care is available by selecting optional purchases after registering. Volunteer roles include Check-In & Check-Out, Medical Volunteer, and Host Home, with the Medical Volunteer preferably having medical training such as CNA, RN, or EMT. Host Home volunteers provide lodging for two or more Eagle Lake staff members with breakfast each morning and dinner four nights throughout the week.
One parent testimonial states, “My children rated it a 5 out of 5 for fun! They especially loved the dancing, the activities, and the bungee jumping,” attributed to Rachel from Colorado. Another testimonial is attributed to “Alyssa, age 9.” A referral program offers $20 off 2026 registration for both the referrer and a friend.
