Morning 1/2 Day Camp, 4-Week Camp, and Afternoon 1/2 Day Camp each have small student-to-instructor ratios, with limited on-course play in the Morning 1/2 Day and 4-Week Camps and 9 holes of play on both days in the Afternoon 1/2 Day Camp.

Starting at 4 years old, Fossil Trace Junior Programs offer a path for every golfer, and many juniors repeat programs, move into more advanced options, or take multiple programs at the same time. Fossil Trace Golf School is careful to ensure program schedules do not conflict. Afternoon 1/2 Day Camp is for students with high golf acumen, strong self-awareness, and the ability to follow minimal direction. Operation 36 Junior Academy is a development program backed by years of research that balances skill development with real on-course stroke play, and it is recommended that juniors have some entry-level golf experience and attend at least two semesters a year, with Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons offered. The Operation 36 Spring season sold out. PGA Junior League at Fossil Trace is a 9-hole team format in a structured semi-competitive in-house league where players wear numbered jerseys and compete in a scramble format, and it is recommended that juniors have some entry-level golf experience, with Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons offered.
Participants learn and play the game with coaching from Fossil Trace PGA Professionals. The leadership team includes Adam Finch, Head Golf Professional, and Noy Sparks, GCSAA. Fossil Trace Golf Club opened in July 2003. The club has received recognition including “The 18 Most Fun Golf Holes in America | Hole 12” by Golf Digest, “Best Opening Hole in Colorado” by Colorado Avid Golfer, “Top 50 Golf Course in America for Women” by Golf Digest, and “Top of the Town | Best Golf Course” by 5280 Magazine, and it has been honored as “Best Golf Course in Denver” on multiple occasions by Colorado golf and lifestyle publications.
