About the provider
The club started in 2009, and the kid's program was integrated into the SSBJJ family in 2016. The coaches teach kids life skills that range from anti-bullying to respecting others to doing their homework. The mission says everyone is welcome on the mats and the gym fosters a tight-knit community.
No prior experience is needed. People of all fitness levels are welcome. Competition is not mandatory. The school advises keeping fingernails and toenails trimmed and not wearing jewelry during training.
