About
Camp Shakespeare gives students the chance to transform into Shakespeare’s characters through voice, movement, and imagination. Campers unlock Shakespeare’s language through text analysis, develop acting skills for their level of experience, learn the safety and storytelling of stage combat, and rehearse scenes from plays. Daily activities include team building activities and warm-ups, voice and movement instruction, acting class, improvisation, rehearsal, and text analysis, with a performance for friends and family on the final day of camp. After-care group activities include games, age-appropriate movies, and art projects, and campers may also choose to read, draw, or play games brought from home.
