About the provider
DC Way was founded in 2013 and has more than a decade of experience. Its leadership team includes Denis Chekuristov, Founder & Program Director; Roman Kilishek, Executive Director; Melis Bayraktaroglu, Marketing Manager; and Russ Guliyev, Manager of Operations. DC Way says its mission is to help develop the game of soccer in the DC area and bring opportunities for all children to play and enjoy soccer, while helping children be active at an affordable cost. It is described as an award-winning recreational soccer club, with Best Sports Coach and Best Summer Camp in the Best of D.C. issue, and Denis Chekuristov was recognized as Best Sports Coach by Washington City Paper in 2016 and 2017.
Art & Soccer Day Camp is open to boys and girls 3-12 years old; ages 3-4 must be potty-trained and comfortable following simple directions; all skill levels welcome; One Day Camp welcomes kids of all levels and never played before is okay; DC Way provides a safe, structured, and positive environment.
