Headfirst Summer Camps offers a range of programs that include Junior Day Camp, Day Camp, Multi-Sport Camp, D.C. United Soccer Camp Powered by Headfirst, Nationals Baseball & Softball Camps, STEM Camp, Innovators, Inc., Sprouting Scientists, Baseball and Softball Honor Roll Camps, and swimming. The program also runs professional camps offered in partnership with four Major League Baseball teams, one Major League Soccer team, and one National Football League team.

The programs are rooted in joyful, purposeful play, and the curriculum blends imagination, hands-on exploration, and guided independence in an environment where campers feel seen, known, and celebrated. Headfirst Summer Camps offers four convenient locations and provides a carpool line for before and after care, flexibility to change camp topics once registered, swimming every day, and photo updates for parents. The mission of Headfirst Summer Camps is to inspire the personal best in high potential kids, and its programs are intentionally designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create the Headfirst Moments that help every child stretch, surprise themselves, and discover what they can do. Headfirst Summer Camps states that it lives to elevate its camps as a platform to teach kids about life and open up the possibilities for their future, and that with the variety of programs, what remains constant is the organization’s joy to provide programming and structure to help kids across the country embrace their own passions and become their best selves through the power of play. Founder Brendan Sullivan returned to his native DC after the first of five professional baseball seasons, following a journey from the District to Stanford University and then into the San Diego Padres minor league system via the Major League Baseball draft, and in the fall of 1996, with a single baseball lesson that September on the fields of St. Albans School, The Headfirst Companies were born. The years history is noted as ©2001–2025 Headfirst Companies LLC.
