Sidwell Summer

Sidwell Summer offers a range of activities that include Culinary Arts, Design & Styling, LEGO projects, and various Arts programs. The program also includes Sports and Athletics, Day Camp and Discovery Day Camp options, as well as Academic and Enrichment offerings through Academics and Summer Studies. Sidwell Summer is the summer arm of Sidwell Friends School and includes programs that span from arts to athletics to day camp to academic and enrichment topics.

• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Programs run from June 8 to August 14, with camp and office hours generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm depending on the specific program

Sidwell Summer states that it offers participants a variety of enriching opportunities consistent with the values of Sidwell Friends School, including a commitment to diversity while respecting the individual, the stimulation of intellectual and personal growth, and the building of its summer camp community. The program notes that it provides a fun and caring space that allows kids to explore topics and learn in ways that may not be available to them during the school year, in an environment that allows and encourages kids to experiment and enjoy the process of learning, creating, and independent problem-solving.
