Sidwell Summer offers programs that include Culinary Arts, Design & Styling, sports, LEGO activities, academics, day camp, arts, athletics, and academic and enrichment options. These programs are part of the Sidwell Summer camp offerings across the summer season.

The Sidwell Summer Office on the DC Campus is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, the Discovery Day Camp Office on the DC Campus is open from 8:15am to 3:45pm, and the Summer Studies Office and Nurse/Infirmary on the DC Campus are open from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The Bethesda Campus Camp Office is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and the Nurse/Infirmary on the Bethesda Campus is open from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Security is available 24 hours on both the DC and Bethesda campuses.
Sidwell Summer notes that it has a Sponsorship Program that provides financial assistance on camp fees. It also states that it provides a fun and caring space that allows kids to explore topics and learn in ways that may not be available during the school year, and that it offers an environment that allows and encourages kids to experiment and enjoy the process of learning, creating, and independent problem-solving.
