ECS4Kids (Episcopal Children’s Services) helps underserved children in Northeast and Central Florida succeed in school and beyond through early childhood education programs like VPK, Head Start, and School Readiness, and offers support and guidance to families seeking high-quality care and educational opportunities. For over 50 years, its mission has been to build a strong foundation for each child, ensuring they are prepared for lifelong learning and success. The organization serves over 27,000 children and their families in 14 counties, serves over 5,000 VPK students every year, and operates 30 Head Start and Early Head Start centers. Volunteers play a role in helping ECS4Kids serve Florida’s children, and there are opportunities to donate and volunteer to support these early childhood education programs. ECS4Kids partners with United Way for immediate assistance outside normal business hours via 211 or www.211.org.
