JUMP Dance Company offers dance classes and programs that include Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Summer Classes & Intensives. The program includes Recreational & Children's Programs, Pre-Professional Programs, Competitive Programs, a Ballet Pre-Professional Program, and a Performance Company. Students can also participate in Jump Encore! Musical Theatre Performance Company, Kids Production, and Jr Production.

JUMP Dance Company has been training dancers for 19 years and is in its 20th year serving the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area. It is owned and operated by Kerry Mynatt, a lifelong dancer. Classes are taught by professionally trained, adult instructors who hold dance degrees and/or certification, and all dance classes from preschool to advanced follow the Dance Masters of America syllabus.
JDC states that it is dedicated to providing students of all ages and abilities quality dance education from certified staff members in a safe, nurturing atmosphere, with all students taught with the same care, quality, and enthusiasm. The program states that it believes in building strong and confident dancers who love the art of dance and in enriching children’s lives with dance.
Performance Company is open to students in the pre-professional program, and being a member of the pre-professional program or company is described as a privilege and honor that requires dedication and commitment. The program notes that members dance a lot and work hard but love every minute of it. Dancers perform in the Sarasota Holiday Parade and at Disney.
Every year the musical theatre classes put on a large end-of-year production. Past productions have included Aladdin Kids, Moana Jr, Aristocats Kids, The Little Mermaid Jr, and Alice in Wonderland, and for Fall 2021 the listed shows are Beauty and the Beast Jr. and The Addams Family (kids’ production). Kids Production for ages 5–12 meets on Thursdays from 5:00–5:50pm, and Jr Production for ages 7–18 meets on Mondays from 7:00–8:30pm.
