Pineapple Kitchen Kids Culinary Education

Pineapple Kitchen Kids Culinary Education offers Pineapple Kitchen Kids workshops, Summer Culinary Kids Camps, the Pineapple Kitchen Kids Cooking & Baking Club, and a Monthly Cook & Bake Along Kit for learning at home. In these programs, children learn principles of food safety in the kitchen, best practices for food preparation, and how to use basic kitchen tools and measurements. The programs also include hands-on experience in how to create a recipe, with workshops that focus on basic culinary instruction built around specific themes.

Pineapple Kitchen Kids Culinary Education is part of Pineapple Kitchen, which was founded and created by husband-and-wife team Mike and Jenny Schenk. Pineapple Kitchen states that it is passionate about food and views food as a way to connect with others, explore different cultures and flavors, and experience joy and pleasure. On August 18, 2022, Pineapple Kitchen was one of seven businesses or nonprofits honored by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s 42nd Annual Small Business of the Year Awards.
