National Football Academies Quarterback Academy includes classroom clinics, dynamic fieldwork sessions, and a full battery of physical and cognitive assessments. Quarterback Academy was founded by Darin Slack in 1988, and over 34 years later they offer athletes a training experience. The leadership team includes QBA Founder Darin Slack, along with Michael Slack, JR Revere, and Rod Robison. Darin Slack graduated as an All-American quarterback at the University of Central Florida, and Rod Robison graduated from CSU Chico, where he earned a degree. The mission statement of QBA is to provide the highest quality skills training systems and services coupled with ultimate customer service, and to provide coaches, athletes and parents the highest level of instruction and information, personalized service and knowledge they need to advance their training programs.
National Football Academies notes that it has invested heavily in coach certification. The program offers professional instruction within limited enrollment small groups and personal interaction with a nationally recognized staff of coaches. Instruction combines classroom and on-field work and includes fully comprehensive evaluation and testing, both physical and cognitive. The curriculum is described as proprietary, progressive, sequential, and dynamic, and coach certification is used to ensure every camp meets industry-leading standards.
The program uses the C4 Self-Correct System, which focuses on Confidence, Consistency, Character and Commitment.
