The Glen Academy offers literacy, science, and math activities along with daily walks for fresh outdoor air. Children also take part in fun fashion shows and gardening as part of the program’s activities.

The Glen Academy follows the Frogstreet curriculum with developmentally appropriate goals and objectives and uses a Differentiated Instruction approach that treats each child as an individual. It offers nurturing and safe infant care, childcare, preschool, Florida VPK, and after-school programs, with year-round daycare and child care programs for kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The campus includes 3 playgrounds, a Soccer Field, a Basketball Practice Court, a large garden, a scenic view, and an outdoor classroom-sized patio, and it offers even the youngest children a wider variety of outdoor experiences than other Early Learning Centers. The program is described as a modern early learning center with a creative and playful approach to childcare and education.
The Glen Academy’s mission is to be the school of choice for parents seeking early education and enriched care for their children, aged 3 months to 5th grade. The teaching staff receives continuing education on an ongoing basis as part of their APPLE Accreditation and Gold Seal Certification process, and the program holds APPLE Accreditation and Gold Seal Certification. Parents may come by anytime to observe, and anyone other than a parent must be pre-authorized to visit or pick up a child; in at least one classroom, visitors are required to take off their shoes before entering the room.
The school maintains communications with the various communities it serves and participates actively in community affairs, particularly those related to early childhood education, and it works with local educational institutions on early childhood education programs.
