Florida Alliance Tier I Youth Hockey focuses on youth hockey with elite training, competition, and skill progression. Players take part in strength and conditioning, mental training, and leadership development as part of the program’s state-of-the-art training environment.
• Ages: 13–18 years old
The program’s mission states that it is the longest-running premier Tier I (AAA) youth hockey program in Florida and is built to provide the state’s top players with elite training, competition, and exposure without the need to leave Florida to pursue higher-level opportunities. As one of the USA Hockey–sanctioned Tier I programs in the state, Florida Alliance Tier I represents the highest standard of youth hockey in Florida. The coaching staff brings national-level experience with a proven history of developing players for junior, collegiate, and professional hockey, and alumni have advanced to the USHL, NAHL, NCAA, and professional leagues. The program emphasizes skill progression, hockey IQ, strength and conditioning, mental training, and leadership, and its teams compete in elite showcases and national tournaments. Florida Alliance Tier I provides statewide access to Tier I hockey with North and South teams where feasible, ensuring competitive balance and maximizing player opportunity across Florida. The program fosters a team-first culture built on respect, discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship, and notes that players are developing life skills, forming lasting bonds, and preparing for future goals while taking advantage of Florida’s year-round climate and a complete Tier I experience in the Sunshine State. The leadership and coaching group includes Chris Ferrazolli, Corey Smith, Vinny Morris, Charles Linglet, Ryan Brindley, Tony Lessel, Ryan Vesce, Mike Rodriguez, Luciano LoManno, Patrick Moreau, Shawn Ray, and Craig Morton.
