Junior Everblades Hockey Association is an organized competitive team ice hockey program. It operates as a Tier II travel hockey program that competes at the A and AA levels.
The organization was started in 1998 along with the Florida Everblades as part of team president Craig Brush's vision for bringing hockey to Southwest Florida. It began with four teams in 1998 and today comprises 13 teams with over 190 players. Its primary purpose is to provide the youth of Southwest Florida with an opportunity to participate in an organized competitive team ice hockey program. The Junior Everblades Hockey Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida. The leadership team includes Tony Lessel (Director of Hockey); Chad Goesling (Director, Treasurer); Austin Petersen (Director, Equipment Chair); David Shepard (Director, President); Cz DiRosario (Director, Secretary, General Manager, Registrar); James Johnstone (Director, Vice President, Safe Sport Coordinator, Discipline Chair); Mark Humphrey (Director); and Isaac Berg (Director of Merchandising, Everblades Pro Shop).
