About

Florida Jr Blades is a hockey program that offers youth hockey and Junior level hockey, including Tier 3 Junior Hockey. Players in the program compete in the USPHL Premier Division, USPHL Elite Division, and the USPHL National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), as well as in regional and national tournaments. The program offers options for players of all skill levels, from beginner to elite, and uses a structured curriculum that focuses on individual skills and tactical understanding of the game.

The Florida Jr Blades were established in 2000 as a prominent youth hockey organization founded with a vision to provide a comprehensive hockey experience. The organization fields teams in both the USPHL Premier and Elite Divisions, and its Tier 3 Junior Hockey teams compete against top-tier opponents throughout the United States. The program has announced expansion into the USPHL National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) and will field a top-tier NCDC squad while maintaining a Premier team to create a developmental ladder within a single culture.

Coaches Noah Wild and Mac Diver lead the program and have multiple years of Junior hockey, NCAA collegiate play, and professional experience. The program’s mission states that it aims to provide a comprehensive and enriching hockey experience for young athletes, focusing on personal and athletic development on and off the ice, with an emphasis on excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship. The mission also highlights professional coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, individualized player development, and a focus on teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and preparation for success in hockey and other areas of life. The organization engages in community engagement initiatives and volunteer opportunities and serves as a cornerstone of the youth hockey community in Florida.
