YMCA of South Florida Youth Development Programs include day camp, summer camp, specialty camp, afterschool programs, preschool, youth sports, swim lessons, and water safety and drowning prevention classes. The programs also offer adaptive recreation programs, group fitness classes such as SilverSneakers®, Aqua classes, Les Mills, Zumba®, and Spinning, as well as private Yoga and private Reformer Pilates sessions.

The organization offers more than 200 programs serving everyone from six months old to 100 years, with over 50 group class formats and financial assistance and aid programs including for military members and veterans, and adaptive recreation programs for special needs participants.

The YMCA of South Florida is a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community and works side-by-side with neighbors so that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Youth Development Camp Y is offered at school and community locations, with extended learning opportunities at select sites, and the organization runs initiatives such as “Send a Kid to Camp” and “Give to the Families of the Y.” Nationally certified instructors lead the private Yoga and Reformer Pilates sessions. A one-day pass with all-access is available for local residents who have not visited the Y in the prior six months, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and present ID for this pass.
