About
Daytrippers Sports & Travel Camp focuses on traveling, playing sports, and daily recreational and competitive sports activities. Campers take 2 fun and exciting field trips each day, including daily fun-filled trips to attractions in South Florida. The program also includes special fun days such as Camp Color War and Battle of the Sexes, as well as sports parties and fun parties for everyone at JAAC’D UP Sports Center.

• Schedule: Summer 2026, June 8 – August 7, 9:00–4:00
Daytrippers Sports & Travel Camp is a sports and travel camp in South Florida for ages 5–14 and also offers winter, spring, and summer camps. The camp uses air-conditioned buses, is fully insured, and provides daily lunches and snacks. There is 1 counselor for every 5 campers, and all staff members are either teachers, former students, or past Daytrippers of Coach Andy. Each staff member goes through extensive training sessions, and references are checked on all staff.
The camp is led by Camp Directors Coach Andy Degen and Cindy Degen. Coach Andy Degen holds an M.S. and B.S. in Athletic Administration and has more than 25 years of camp director and teaching/coaching experience in the South Florida area. Cindy Degen has been teaching for more than 20 years. His mission is to provide children with the tools to improve their life and enjoy their time away from home.
