The Genius Kids Academy

The Genius Kids Academy offers Early Preschool for toddlers described as two year olds, with vocabulary building, letters, colors, numbers, shapes, motor skills, counting, sorting, grouping, matching, and independence. It also offers Preschool with experimentation, discovery, exploration, problem solving, and hands-on activities, plus a thematic approach and a letter of the week. VPK includes cognitive, social, and emotional growth support for kindergarten readiness, and the program also offers Summer Camps, Spring Brake, and Winter Camps with activities such as indoor and outdoor play, water days, bounce houses, gardening, creative arts and crafts, STEAM activities, art, crafts, and science activities.

• Early Preschool (Toddlers) — toddlers; described as two year olds · Focuses on building vocabulary, introduction to letters, colors, numbers and shapes, motor skills, emerging social abilities, counting, sorting, grouping, matching, and independence.
• Preschool — Early learning through experimentation, discovery, exploration, problem solving, and hands-on activities; thematic approach, letter of the week, and hands-on, brains-on activities.
• VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) — Emphasizes cognitive, social, and emotional growth and supports kindergarten readiness.
• Summer Camps — children ages 1-7 yrs. old · begins in June and ends the second week of August every year · Focuses on social-emotional development, making friends, keeping minds sharp in a fun way; includes indoor and outdoor activities, water days, and bounce houses.
• Spring Brake — one week program in the month of March · Offers gardening and creative arts & crafts activities.
• Winter Camps — last two weeks in the month of December each year · Focused on STEAM activities, art, crafts, and science activities.

About the provider

The program has served the Hollywood and Hallandale Beach, FL communities for over a decade. Its mission is to provide a nurturing and enriching environment where every child can grow, learn, and develop to their fullest potential. Rooms are organized into learning centers, and children work with specialists in Library, Music & Movement, Physical Education, and Spanish. The program combines Starfall and Creative Curriculums and states there are no age limits to learn in a safe and fun hands-on environment.
