Youth Activities Center Camps offers before and after school care, full-day camps, hourly care, and a teen program that includes activity groups where participants can socialize and play. Children and teens take part in activities such as STEM projects, visual and performing arts, health and life sciences, sports and recreation, leadership activities, cooking, painting, playing musical instruments, outdoor and gym sports, using technology like computers, 3D printers, and robots, and going on field trips on and off-base. The program also includes homework help, character education, transition and resiliency life skills through the Anchored4Life Club, team building, location tours, and on-base events such as overnights and dances for teens.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Before school care on weekdays in the early morning, after school care on weekdays in the afternoon, early release care on Wednesdays, and vacation break and summer camp days from early morning to early evening; teen center open weekdays after school, with longer daytime hours during vacation breaks and summer
• Price: Hourly care is a flat hourly fee.
All counselors have experience in childhood education and are CPR and First Aid certified. Youth Activities Center Camps operates in an accredited facility affiliated with Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA), Anchored4Life, and 4H, and registration for the School Age Care Program and Camps is through the militarychildcare.com website. Hourly care reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.
