Dance Empire of Miami offers dance classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, modern, kinderdance, tap, and ballroom, along with summer camp, intensives, and summer dance classes. The studio provides many classes across different dance genres and levels, from beginner to pre-professional, for students starting at age three and up. Dance Empire of Miami is described as a dance studio and dance academy created to provide comprehensive dance education across all genres under one roof.

Dance Empire of Miami was founded in 1998 by Artistic Director Angel Fraser-Logan. The program has taken pride in having trained some of the top dancers coming out of Miami for more than 25 years and describes its history as three decades of dance excellence in Miami. Under Angel Fraser-Logan’s leadership, Dance Empire has garnered national and international recognition, and she continues to teach and mentor dancers weekly, supported by a faculty that includes many artists she personally trained.
Dance Empire is an award-winning, nationally renowned dance academy and is described as Miami’s Premier Dance Academy, recently voted as one of the top dance studios in the nation. Alumni have gone on to perform on Broadway, work with Disney, dance with companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet BC, and Complexions, and join professional and collegiate dance teams nationwide. Many alumni have been accepted into arts programs and institutions including The Juilliard School, Jacob’s Pillow, American Dance Festival, Ailey/Fordham, and leading magnet arts schools, and Dance Empire dancers have toured internationally with major musical artists and appeared on widely recognized television programs.
Dance Empire states that its mission is to enhance each individual not only in dance technique and performance but also in artistic excellence and integrity by equipping them with the tools to be successful, resilient, and self-confident individuals capable of changing the world. The studio describes itself as providing dance education within a nurturing, disciplined, and inspiring environment, with a philosophy expressed as “Where in not only dance, but life itself.” It is also described as a village of unconditional love and a place that students will always call home. Dance Empire serves the Greater Miami area, including Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, and surrounding South Miami-Dade communities, and is currently registering for 2026–2027 and for summer camp, intensives, and summer classes.
