Deering Estate Youth Camps & Programs include activities such as Nature Preserve Tours, Guided Museum Tours, Bird Walks, Wildlife Kayak Adventures, Moon Viewing, Moonlight Kayak Tours, and Daybreak at Deering. The program also connects with special events and seasonal offerings such as Spring Camp, Manatee Appreciation Day, a Women’s History Month Concert, Chef’s Table on the Bay, the Deering Seafood Festival, Mother’s Day Bay Cruise, Memorial Day Weekend at Deering Estate, Father’s Day Fishing Cruise, Deering Estate’s 4th of July Celebration, the MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL Focus On Series, and Labor Day Weekend at Deering Estate.

• Schedule: General admission is available daily from 10 AM to 5 PM with no admission after 4 PM, and daily guided tours are offered at 11:30 AM, with Nature Preserve Tours offered October through May daily at 12:30 PM.
• Price: Deering Estate’s 4th of July Celebration has an $8 admission fee.

Deering Estate Youth Camps & Programs take place at a national landmark that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as one of seven Miami-Dade County “Heritage Parks.” The site functions as a 21st century house museum and a cultural and ecological field station, features diverse ecosystems, and hosts 10,000 years of human history. The Stone House is closed to the public for renovation and restoration as of Monday, April 28, 2025, while the rest of the Estate remains open for exploration.
