Hoop Skills Academy

Hoop Skills Academy offers Group Training, Private Training, Homeschool Programs, AAU Tryouts, a Youth Skills Completion Membership, Basketball Summer Camps, Summer Basketball Camp 2025 weekly registration, WEEK 8 and WEEK 9 youth summer camp, and Daily Drop Ins for youth summer camp. Private Training is one-on-one and focuses on shooting mechanics, ball handling, footwork, and game strategy. Homeschool Programs run on weekday training sessions and focus on skill development, conditioning, and teamwork.

About the provider

Hoop Skills Academy was founded in 2021 in Hallandale Beach. Coach Dwayne is the founder and head trainer, and he earned All-Conference and Player of the Year honors in college and played professionally across the world, including Argentina and Qatar. The academy says its mission is to develop athletes through intentional, high-level training, with an emphasis on integrity, grit, growth, and character.

• Adult League — $1,250 · Adult basketball league; team registration is $1,250.
• Half-Court Rental — $100 · Reserve half the court for private or group sessions.

All bookings and memberships are non-refundable. Early drop-off begins at 8:30 AM and late pick-up is available until 3:30 PM. Camp officially runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If a child leaves early, they must be signed out with a designated staff member. Pick-up is only allowed by an authorized person. Parents are encouraged to pack snacks, lunch, and a reusable water bottle. A labeled basketball is recommended. Once application and payment are received, a confirmation email or letter is sent.
