Swim Kids School

Swim Kids School offers Babies & me for ages 6 to 24 months, with one parent joining the instructor for bubbles, songs, rhymes, small toys, underwater activities, and parent safety tips. It also offers Turtles for ages 2 to 3 years, with water introduction, safety, and swimming on their own; Jellyfish for ages 3 to 5 years, with swim distance, water safety, kickboards, noodles, fins, breathing, and basic strokes; Dolphins for ages 7 to 9 years, with freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, side breathing, endurance, and technique improvement; and Sharks for ages 10 and up, with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, endurance, race starts, turns, and distance.

Programs

• Babies & me — 6 month – 24 month · One parent joins the instructor. Fun activities with bubbles, songs, rhymes, small toys, underwater activities, and parent safety tips.
• Turtles — 2 – 3 years old · Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for toddlers. Focus on water introduction, safety, and swimming on their own.
• Jellyfish — 3 – 5 years old · Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Focus on swim distance, water safety, kickboards, noodles, fins, breathing, and basic strokes.
• Dolphins — 7 years – 9 years old · Beginner and advanced levels. Focus on freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, side breathing, endurance, and technique improvement.
• Sharks — 10 years and up · Beginner and advanced levels. Focus on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, endurance, race starts, turns, and distance.
• Adult Swim Lessons — All ages · Beginners learn floating, strokes, and basic freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke.
• Private lessons — All ages · All levels welcome. Skill teaching is evaluated and applied accordingly.

About the provider

Swim Kids School pools have been opened since 1994. The program states that it has certified instructors and is a provider of Red Cross, a member of the WABC (World Aquatic Baby Conference), and NSSA (National Swim School Association). Its mission statement is: "Creating safe water experiences for all children & learning to swim while having fun!"

Small class sizes, warm water, individual attention, and enthusiastic team are mentioned. Families receive 10% off group class after the first Swim Kid. At home lesson prices are listed for group, semi private, private, and single day classes.
