About
Kumanessa Gymnastics offers beginner, intermediate, experienced, and advanced gymnastics classes, plus tumbling and conditioning, private classes, and training in floor, vault, bars, and balance beam. Group classes are limited to 16 students, with a minimum of two experienced coaches per class. Private lessons are one hour long and fully customized to each gymnast’s needs.
Programs
- Beginner gymnastics class — 4 to 11 years old · Mon/Wed 3:00-3:45 pm; Tues/Thurs 3:00-3:45 pm · Structured gymnastics class for boys and girls ages 4 and up; group classes are limited to 16 students with a minimum of two experienced coaches per class.
- Intermediate gymnastics class — 4 to 11 years old · Mon/Wed 3:50-4:35 pm; Tues/Thurs 3:50-4:35 pm · Structured gymnastics class for boys and girls ages 4 and up; group classes are limited to 16 students with a minimum of two experienced coaches per class.
- Experienced gymnastics class — 4 to 11 years old · Mon/Wed 4:40-5:25 pm · Structured gymnastics class for boys and girls ages 4 and up; group classes are limited to 16 students with a minimum of two experienced coaches per class.
- Advanced gymnastics class — 4 to 11 years old · Mon/Wed 5:30-6:15 pm · Advanced group is by invitation only.
- Tumbling / Conditioning — 9 years and up · Tues/Thurs 4:40-5:40 pm · For children ages 9 years and up.
- Private classes — 4 to 11 years old · Friday 3:45-5:45 pm; Saturday 10:00 am-1:00 pm · Private lessons are one hour long and fully customized to each gymnast’s needs.

About the provider
Kumanessa Gymnastics has served the Coconut Grove community for over 8 years. Elena Irazu is the founder and program leader, and the coaches listed are Cristina, Danae, Alexandra, and Isabella. Elena Irazu is described as a former professional gymnast who represented her country in international competitions, including a World Gymnastics Championship, and as a three-time national champion with over 20 years of coaching experience.
Non competitive program; no meets or travel. Advanced group is by invitation only. Private lessons are one hour long and fully customized to each gymnast’s needs.
