Greenfield School Age follows a curriculum based on Learn Every Day and uses an educational and fun weekly themed curriculum that focuses on interactive learning. The program offers an after school program for ages 5–12 years old, Summer Camp, and transportation from NES and OVM for the School Age program. All playgrounds have recently been remodeled and upgraded, and there are large playgrounds specifically designed for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children. Entrances are secured with restricted visitor access using a passcode.

Greenfield was established in June 2016 and is owner operated. The School Age Director and Director of the After-School Program is Sara Anderson, and the leadership team also includes Owner and Greenfield West Director Jayme Tate and Greenfield East Director Stephanie McQuay. The program is APPLE accredited. Greenfield’s mission statement is that it wants all children to grow physically, emotionally and socially by playing, exploring and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy environment.

Seventy-five percent of staff have credentials that are CDA or higher, and all staff are PEARLS certified. Staff are trained in infant, child and adult CPR and first aid, and all employees have Level 2 local, state and federal background screenings. Director Sara Anderson graduated with her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and holds a Director’s Credential, and Director Stephanie McQuay holds her Associate’s in Elementary Education and a Director’s Credential. The program follows DCF ratios. All meals are cooked in house by certified chefs, USDA guidelines are followed for all meals and snacks, and family-style dining is used. The program uses the Procare app for daily communication and pictures with families.

Greenfield hosts community events such as the Fall Festival. Testimonials from families and staff describe long-term enrollment and employment, communication with directors and teachers, use of an app for daily updates, outside time, class parties that include parents, and monthly meetings and training for staff. Several testimonials mention the involvement of owner/director Jayme Tate and refer to Greenfield as family-like for both parents and employees.
