Families with dancers who are very interested in dancing are informed that they may consider auditioning for either a performance or competition team. Sapphire and Emerald teams, located in St. Cloud/Lake Nona, and Topaz and Garnet teams, located in Avalon Park, do community performances multiple times during the season, require excellent attendance in regular classes, and attend a one-day dance convention. Opal (ages 4–7, Novice) attends four regional competitions in the Central Florida area, one Nationals in Summer 2027 with two group routines, and one three-day dance convention. Onyx and Amethyst (Novice) attend four regional competitions in the Central Florida area, one Nationals in Summer 2027 with two to four group routines, and one three-day dance convention. Diamond (Intermediate) attends four regional competitions in the Central Florida area, one Nationals in Summer 2027 with three to five group routines, and two three-day dance conventions. Elite (Advanced) attends four regional competitions in the Central Florida area, one Nationals in Summer 2027 with four to five group routines, and two three-day dance conventions.

Team placements start in June 2026 at a first audition and at the end of July for a second audition. All competitive dancers and prospects must attend a Team Intensive from July 20–24, 2026, and non-competitive dancers must attend a Team Intensive from July 27–31, 2026, with no exceptions for missing these required intensives. Summer class requirements per week include one Ballet class on Level 1, one Technique class on Level 1, one Acro class on Level 1, and Team Conditioning/Flexibility, along with one week of Team Intensive from July 20–24; an additional note states that summer class requirements per week are to be determined with one week of Team Intensive from July 27–31.
