Florida Virtual School is an online learning provider offering online courses and a fully accredited online public school for Kindergarten–12th grade. The program offers more than 200 online courses, including options that students can take as individual FLVS Flex courses year-round. Students have year-round, 24/7 access to their courses and can complete them at home, during a free period at school, or while traveling over summer break.

Florida Virtual School has been leading online education for more than 25 years and has been leading online education since 1997. It provides flexible and full-time online education options and can enhance the educational experience of homeschool, traditional public, or private school students. Students who meet district graduation requirements are able to receive a Florida diploma from Florida Virtual School. Teens are required to take a driver education course before they can get their learner’s license, and Florida Virtual School offers a driver education course that can help meet the state requirement and earn high school credit. Students can participate in more than 80 student clubs that bring students together online and face-to-face. Florida Virtual School supports schools across the nation through FlexPoint, provides course licensing for schools, offers internship opportunities, and provides help and technical support, including system status information. Florida Virtual School has served more than 250,000 students during the 2024–25 school year.

Florida Virtual School is a fully accredited online public school for Kindergarten–12th grade. Its graduation rate has reached an all-time high of 97%. FLVS names annual district-level Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, Assistant Principal of the Year, and School-Related Employee/Support Person of the Year, and nominates four team members each year as candidates for the Florida Department of Education's annual recognition programs. Florida Virtual School highlights community involvement, including congratulating Jenel D’Alessandro on becoming the first female commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12046 in Marianna, Florida. Florida Virtual School student West Fowler earned gold, silver, and bronze medals for Team USA at the World Trampoline Gymnastics Championships in Spain. Florida Virtual High School senior Alvin Luu earned the Youth in Philanthropy Award for his leadership, literacy advocacy, and community impact.
