United Futsal began its journey as USA Futsal in 2012. The organization states that it is dedicated to growing the game of futsal through elite competitions, player development programs, and educational initiatives, with a mission to provide players, coaches, and referees with opportunities to excel across the United States and globally. The leadership team includes Rob Andrews (President), Montse Llamazares (General Manager), Andres Quincoses (Creative Director), Choco Macías (Sales Department), Maca Quincoses (Communications Coordinator), Petch Costa (Director of Sales), and Brandon McKoy (Director of Operations). United Futsal and NorCal Premier Soccer partnered to host the inaugural NorCal Premier Winter Futsal Festival, where every team receives a guaranteed five matches across the three-day event, and participation is exclusively open to US Club Soccer-sanctioned teams and players. At the World Futsal Championships: Orlando, teams from around the world will compete in what is described as the largest international youth futsal tournament in the United States, with five games guaranteed, trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall, and medals awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all divisions. Event doors open one hour before the first games begin and close 30 minutes after the final game ends. Families attending the Orlando event are also able to enjoy futsal and the parks of Disney and Universal. Parking for attendees is on-site, managed by a third party, and is at attendees’ own risk.
