About

Deering Estate Summer Camp is a Nature and Science camp where campers take part in science experiments, hikes, crafts, kayaking, canoeing, hiking through mangroves, and swimming. Campers spend at least half of each day outdoors, weather permitting, and explore protected natural areas while learning how they can contribute to their protection. Activities vary by week and include one off site field trip for everyone, with locations that change from week to week, and Expedition campers go kayaking or canoeing once a week.

• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Sessions are generally Monday to Friday, with one four-day session (Session #4) from Monday, June 29, 2026 to Thursday, July 2, 2026, and a camp week from July 20–24, 2026 running 8:00 am–4:00 pm each day.
• Price: Eco Explorers (ages 6–8) cost $190 per session (Session #4: $160) and Expedition (ages 9–14) cost $215 per session (Session #4: $180), with price per child per session, an additional $5–$10 for weekly off site field trips, a one-time $15 registration fee per school year and beginning of summer, a 10% sibling discount on the younger sibling when enrolled the same week (Eco or Expedition only), and non-refundable, non-transferable 25% deposit options that must be paid in full by the listed balance due date at 4 pm.
