WunderKid Academy Summer Camp
WunderKid Academy, 730 Upsala Rd, Sanford, FL 32771
About
WunderKid Academy Summer Camp includes hands-on, play-based learning with activities such as science experiments, art, music, imaginative play, and movement. The program also offers Splash Days with cool summer water fun as part of its 10 weeks of themed fun under the “Deep Sea Explorers” summer theme, which features weekly ocean themes and a focus on ocean care and conservation.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Camp hours 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday; 10 weeks of themed fun from 6/1/26–8/7/26
• Price: Registration Fee: $155 (per new family). Tuition: $175 per week ($55 per day for less than 5 days). Credit/debit card fees are additional, and weekly tuition is charged the Friday before the upcoming camp week.
The camp is part of a small, private, faith-based childcare and preschool center with only 4 classrooms and 1 infant room, and it is only taking up to 25 children ages K–5 due to space limitations. Doors are locked at all times, and security cameras are placed in classrooms and the hallway. Every family receives personal care, and the program uses a secure mobile app, Kindertales, for center needs, including nearly paper-free enrollment, online billing and account management, contactless check-in and check-out, and sharing photos and videos of children throughout the day.
Teachers follow state-approved curriculum for all ages, provide social and emotional support and guidance, record milestones against developmental benchmarks, and the program reports low teacher turnover. The leadership team includes Margaret MacDonald, the founder. The stated mission is to establish a strong foundation of learning that will enable children to succeed in the future by fostering a strong sense of independence, a can-do attitude, respect for others, and a joy of learning. The program operates under License# C18SE0318, and WunderKid Academy is a federally registered trademark owned by WunderKid Academy LLC.
Families are asked to provide a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, and drink for each child, including some healthy options. A copy of each child’s immunization record and medical evaluation form is needed, and families use the Kindertales app to check children in and out, to enroll, and to pay tuition.
