About
WunderKid Academy Summer Camp includes hands-on, play-based learning with activities such as science experiments, art, music, imaginative play, and movement. The camp also offers Splash Days with cool summer water fun as part of its 10 weeks of themed fun. The Summer 2026 theme is Deep Sea Explorers, with weekly ocean themes that include a focus on ocean care and conservation.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, running for 10 weeks from 6/1/26 to 8/7/26
• Price: Registration fee is $155 per new family; tuition is $175 per week or $50 per day for less than 5 days, with credit/debit card fees additional and weekly tuition charged the Friday before the upcoming camp week
The camp is limited to up to 25 children in grades K–5 due to space limitations. Families use the Kindertales secure mobile app for enrollment, online billing and account management, contactless check-in and check-out, and to see photos and videos of their child throughout the day. Enrollment is nearly paper-free, and online enrollment includes forms to be filled out by the parent.
WunderKid Academy follows a state-approved curriculum for all ages and records milestones against developmental benchmarks. The program notes low teacher turnover, teachers that love to be with children, and a focus on providing social and emotional support and guidance. Every family receives personal care in a small environment with only four classrooms and one infant room, with doors locked at all times and security cameras placed in classrooms and the hallway.
Parents are asked to provide a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, and a drink for their child, including some healthy options. A copy of the child’s immunization record and medical evaluation form is needed, and the Kindertales platform is required for check-in/check-out, enrollment, and tuition payments.
The founder, Margaret MacDonald, was a Sunday School teacher who enjoyed caring for children. WunderKid Academy states a mission of establishing a strong foundation of learning that will enable children to succeed in the future by fostering a strong sense of independence, a can-do attitude, respect for others, and a joy of learning. WunderKid Academy is a small, private, faith-based childcare and preschool center, and WunderKid Academy is a federally registered trademark owned by WunderKid Academy LLC.
