About
Nike Basketball Camp South Walton High School includes technical instruction, personalized feedback, competitive scrimmages, 3 on 3 Cut Throat Tournaments, and 5 on 5 play. Campers spend over three hours each day on individual skill development, using basketballs provided by the staff for instruction.
• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: Multi-day day camps with sessions July 6–10, 2026 and July 20–24, 2026; camp hours Monday–Thursday 9:00am–3:00pm and Friday 9:00am–12:00pm
• Price: $335 per full-day session; optional Nike All Court Elite Basketball available for $35
The Elite Hoops Basketball staff is described as being comprised of some of the best coaches in the area and specializes in camps, clinics, training sessions, leagues, and travel teams. Elite Hoops Basketball has been in partnership with Nike Basketball Camps for over 12 years and, in 2016, directed over 50 Nike Basketball Camps across eight southeastern states with over 3,600 players in attendance. US Sports Camps states that it is committed to making camps a safe environment and positive experience for all campers and staff.
The camp notes a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio, groups campers by ability, age, and experience at the Director’s discretion, and lists that an athletic trainer is on-site at most camps with transport to the nearest hospital in case of emergency. Flexible cancellation options are available, and families can secure a spot at current rates with a deposit. Campers at multi-day camps receive a Nike Basketball Camps t-shirt and other prizes, and lunch is not provided, so campers are expected to bring a packed lunch or lunch money.
Basketballs are provided for instruction, and families can purchase a Nike All Court Elite Basketball during registration for $35, choosing size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys), which is handed out on the last day of camp. A suggested packing list includes athletic on-court clothing, athletic shoes, a water bottle, a packed lunch and snacks, and a small gym bag or backpack, and US Sports Camps states it is not responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
One parent review states, “My son learned a lot just being there a week. He raved about it after each day of camp. He is already looking forward to next year's camp. I like that the camp was smaller scale that allowed my child to gain more one-on-one training and more playing time. The counselors were fantastic - great to see the motivation.”
