About
Mote Camps offers hands-on, age-appropriate, inquiry-based activities that include both indoor activities and field explorations. Campers take part in hands-on activities, tour labs, meet researchers, and conduct their own STEM projects. At Mote STEM Camp, campers engage in the world of marine science through hands-on activities guided by educators, scientists, and aquarists.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: Mote Adventure Camp and Mote SEA STEM Camp run June 1–July 31 for campers 6–13 years old, and the Mote Camp High School Program is a week-long program for campers 14–16 years old with sessions on June 8–12, June 22–26, July 13–17, and July 27–31 from 1:30–5:30 p.m.
• Price: Mote Camp High School Program costs $270 per week for members and $300 per week for non-members, and members receive a 10% discount on Mote Camp and many other Mote Education programs.
Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, founded in 1955 as an independent, nonprofit marine science institution, states in its mission that it is dedicated to nurturing minds in marine science and technology fields as part of its Beyond 2020 Vision & Strategic Plan.
