Mote Camps

Mote Camps includes Mote Adventure Camp, which combines research with hands-on, age-appropriate, inquiry-based activities, and Mote STEM Camp, which offers hands-on marine science activities in a state of the art aquarium. The Mote Camp High School Program is a week-long program for campers 14-16 years old and runs from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

• Mote Adventure Camp — Campers who have completed Kindergarten to 8th grade; campers 6-13 years old · Hosted at Mote’s City Island campus; combines research with hands-on, age-appropriate, inquiry-based activities. June 1st – July 31st. Contact: [email protected] or 941-388-4441, ext 325.
• Mote STEM Camp — Campers who have completed kindergarten through 8th grade; campers 6-13 years old · Located at Mote’s new aquarium near UTC Mall. Hands-on marine science activities in a state of the art aquarium. June 1st – July 31st. Contact: [email protected] or 941-388-4441, ext 325.
• Mote Camp High School Program — Campers 14-16 years old · 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. · $270–$300 per week · Week-long program. Dates: June 8-12, June 22-26, July 13-17, July 27-3. Contact: [email protected] or 941-388-4441, ext. 325.

Registration for 2026 Mote Adventure Camp and Mote STEM Camp is now open. Camp transfer requests must be in writing and include a $25.00 transfer fee. Mote Membership members receive a 10% discount on Mote Camp and many other Mote Education programs.

Camps fill quickly and transfer requests may not be allowed due to lack of availability in the requested week. Mote Membership members receive a 10% discount on Mote Camp and many other Mote Education programs.
