Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Youth Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Youth Programs include a Summer Program for Kids, an After School Program, and Teen Opportunities. The Clubs offer out-of-school time and summer programs for thousands of youth at six Club locations.

Since 1970, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties have played an integral role in the Sarasota County community. The organization has been a leader in youth development since 1970, providing enriching out-of-school time and summer programs to thousands of youth in Sarasota, Venice, North Port, and Arcadia. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The vision is to provide a world-class Club experience that keeps all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle. Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties has received recognition through a BGCA Safety Award, noted as “Safety in Action: Celebrating Our BGCA Safety Award Win.”
